Lin-Manuel Miranda’s smash-hit Broadway cheerleading musical
Backflipping into the UK after a hit Broadway run, Bring It On: The Musical comes to the Southbank starring Love Island’s Amber Davies and Olympic gymnast Louis Smith.
Inspired by the film of the same name, Bring It On: The Musical takes you on a high-flying, energy-fuelled journey which tackles friendship, jealousy, betrayal and forgiveness – wrapped up in explosive choreography and tricks.
Bring It On is brought to the stage by a multi-award winning creative team including music by Hamilton’s Lin-Manuel Miranda and Pulitzer Prize winning Tom Kitt, a book by Tony Award winner Jeff Whitty and lyrics by lyrics are by both Lin-Manuel Miranda and Amanda Green.

What is Bring It on: The Musical about?
Cheer-royalty and newly crowned Squad Captain, Campbell (Davies), should be embarking on her most cheertastic senior year at Truman High School.
When she’s forced to move to the neighbouring hard-knock Jackson High, Campbell fears her life is over.
But an unlikely friendship catapults Campbell back into contention, with a powerhouse squad and the fire to achieve the impossible.
Who’s in the cast of Bring It on: The Musical?
Bring It On: The Musical is led by Amber Davies – last seen in Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5 The Musical – and Olympic medalist turned entertainer Louis Smith. The cast also features Vanessa Fisher, Alicia Belgarde, Georgia Bradshaw, Marvyn Charles, Chelsea Hall, Chloe Pool, Biancha Szynal and Samuel Wilson-Freeman lead the cast of Bring It On The Musical.
Creative team
Directed by Guy Unsworth with choreography by Fabian Aloise, set by Libby Watson, costume by Susan Kulkarni, lighting by Matt Daw, sound by Ross Portway, music supervision by Mark Crossland and musical direction from Sarah Burrell. They will be joined by Danny MacDonald as acrobatic director and Aundrea Fudge as dialect coach.
